Therapeutic services are provided to individuals experiencing significant emotional difficulties. Mental Health services may include individual, group and/or family psychotherapy, case management, crisis intervention, and medication support.
Mental health services may be provided at Alma offices, residential facilities, or at other locations as appropriate. The Alma multi-cultural clinical staff has expertise in working with individuals with special needs and their families.
We have services located in Pico Rivera, Walnut, Long Beach, Huntington Park, East Los Angeles and other locations in Los Angeles County.
CalWorks
Mental Health services are available to CalWORKs participants involved with the Department of Public and Social Services. Services are family focused and integrated to effectively remove mental health barriers to employment. A participant who becomes employed may continue to receive mental health services while working.
GROW
Mental Health services are available to General Relief participants in the General Relief Opportunities for Work (GROW) program. Services are integrated to effectively remove mental health barriers to employment and self-sufficiency.
