Aquatics Program
By teaching our children healthy eating habits, we strive to students' overall nutrition and optimal growth. Research shows how the eating habits children pick up when they are young increase the likelihood of a healthy lifestyle in adulthood. Our preschool creatively promotes healthy eating through activities such as the "Tasty Vegetable of the Month", providing children with opportunities to learn about the benefits of eating their veggies.
Healthy Eating Habits
Skills and activities adapted from the American Red Cross Learn to swim Program will be taught to youth participating in the Inclusive Preschool Program. Small groups will participate 1-2 times per week in learning swim basics, water safety, and socialization skills. All aquatics activities are instructed by trained and certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards. Parental consent is required for participation.
We are currently offering nutritious meals and snacks under the Child and Adult Food Program from the State of California and USDA. An application for this program is included in every enrollment packet.*
