Therapeutic Behavioral Services Coach (TBS)
East Los Angeles Full-time
Provides services to high risk children and their families, from low income families and communities, to stabilize and establish functional lifestyles to prevent the need for out of home placement. Will provide mental health and short term services to clients and coordinate services. Works as a part of the treatment team to develop individual treatment plans for assigned children and their families. Assists client with changes in behavior related to child/youths mental health conditions which jeopardize the child’s placement Provides crisis intervention as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Psychology or related field, or minimum 3 years relevant experience. Knowledgeable in TBS mental health program model preferred. Ability to think independently, creatively and effectively in critical situations. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Effective written and oral communication skills. Able to work evening and/or weekend hours when necessary. Must have reliable transportation, valid CA driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
Salary: $22 - $24/hour
